To explore how Blank Factory go about creating scented candles for UK homeware brand SCRT’s SS19 collection, as part of a five-part docu-series exploring art and motivation.
APPROACH
We wanted to visually explore how a fragrance is created, while aurally hearing Alex’s approach to candlemaking as ‘art’; creating a portrait out of the associations scent can give you. In this way, the film takes on a sensual and abstract style.
